Hello all! I am headed to the B-Sides San Francisco and RSAC conferences in San Francisco, California, USA, from Saturday April 26th, to Friday May 2nd. I’d love a chance to meet up with you, if you will be there. Below is my public schedule, events that people can sign up for and meet me at. I’ve also included my B-Sides and RSAC speaking events, which you need a ticket for, and I’ve added a * at the end of each one to denote you must purchase a ticket is required to get in (the rest have free tickets, but you still need to sign up in advance to get in). If you see me, anywhere, please feel free to say hi. I love meeting new people! And seeing old friends! Let’s get a selfie together!
- Sunday April 27th, I will be at B-Sides SF for the whole day, and I’m hosting a birds of a feather about AI (AI Dragons: Threats, Risks, and What We Can Do About Them) at 11:15 if you want to come hang out! (* conference ticket required)
- Sunday evening I will be at the IANs Recruiting event, in case you want to work at IANs as a consultant like me. FYI you need quite a lot of experience to apply, but they are great to work for! (you would need an invite, contact me if interested via my contact form or write IANs)
- April 28th, Monday morning, I’m headed to the Future CISO Mixer with my friend Vandana, at 9:00 am
- Monday at noon, I’m headed briefly (30 minutes or so) to the Purple Book Connect event, so I can sign a whole bunch of copies of my books that they will be giving away later that evening.
- At 4:00 pm Monday I’m headed over to 2025 Champions in Security Awards Gala to present the mentoring award for this year
- Later Monday evening I will be at the RSAC speaker’s reception which is for speakers only but if you’re going to be there please say hi!
- Tuesday April 29th, 8:00-10:00 am, I will be at the Forte Group x RSA Brunch, an event for founders and VCs until 9:00 am
- At 9:40 am I will give my Birds of a Feather at RSAC (* conference ticket required) about how to mature your AppSec program
- Tuesday At 1:00 pm I am doing a free book signing at the Semgrep booth #2051! We are giving away 300 books during RSAC, and doing 3 signings, so please come get one! (* conference ticket required)
- Wednesday from 8:00 am to 10:00 am I will be at the Coffee meet up RSA
- Wednesday, 10:30 am, another book signing at the Semgrep Booth #2051! (* conference ticket required)
- Wednesday 1:15 pm, I will be on a panel, “Champions of Change: Successes and Setbacks of Cyber Ambassador Programs – [HUM-W08]”, as part of RSAC (* conference ticket required)
- Thursday morning (9-10 am), I will be at RSAC Breakfast & Chill
- Thursday at 10:50 am Adam Shostack and I are giving a talk together at RSAC, “Red Teaming AI: 50 Years of Failure, But This Time, For Sure!” IAIS-R03, please come see us! (* conference ticket required)
- Thursday, 12:30 pm, the final book signing at the Semgrep Booth #2051 ! (* conference ticket required)
- The rest is private meetings and recording interviews, and then I fly home Friday evening.
